Handknit Honeycomb Handbag

What is this bee without its honeycomb? Ever since I started This Knitting Bee, I really wanted to use the honeycomb stitch to make something. Once I found a cotton fabric printed with bees and pots of honey, I was inspired to knit up the honeycomb handbag.

• It is casual and quirky, bright and colourful, perfect for a coffee catch up or a movie night.
• The simple stockinette stitch is elevated by the honeycomb stitch pattern.The bee-themed cotton lining inside complements the exterior and has been handstitched for a better fit.
• Square wooden handles have been attached to the bag, and wrapped with yarn for better hold.
• The handbag can be opened and closed with magnetic buttons.
