Embroidered ‘Grace’ Handknit Handbag

Sometimes a simple white bag is all we need to complete the outfit. Enough space to pack in the essentials and a bit more, a little bit of colour to elevate it from being boring, and a little bit of drama with the handles. This bag also has something extra – the back of the bag can have another word or a name to personalise it.

• It is of a subdued bohemian style, with the word ‘grace’ embroidered on top for a pop of colour.
• The simple stockinette stitch is elevated by the matching embroidered word in pink, purple and red.
• It is lined with cotton fabric, handstitched for a better fit. Colours of the lining fabric complement the colours of the embroidery.
• 4 straps were tightly hand knit to prevent sagging of the bag when it is full. These straps, along with the wooden rods, form the handles of the bag.
• The handbag can be opened and closed with a zipper.
