Japanese-style Folded Crochet Tote Bag

Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, used to wrap and carry small products. To crochet a bag inspired by this, one would have to knit a rectangular piece, fold it and join the edges to form a rather unique looking tote. The x-factor for this bag is the variety provided by the bright multicoloured granny square between two monochrome panels.
